Day 37: Cervantes - Perth

It started raining last night and there are still drops falling from the sky in the morning. It has also cooled down significantly. It has been weeks since we last wore long pants. Except for Michi, who only wears shorts on vacation, no matter how cold it is. He did the same thing in South England in 2007, during two weeks of rain and temperatures around 15 degrees.

We have a cozy breakfast and get everything ready for departure. We were actually planning to visit Hangover Bay, but since the weather is so bad, we decide against it. We start towards Perth at 10:30am. The route is very diverse and the 200 km are quickly covered.

In Perth, our first stop is Ikea. Samuel wants to buy some more of their good jam and elderberry juice. We also have lunch there. Then we go to the motorhome rental company. We exchange our towels and bed linen. Today we will stay at the Central Caravan Park. It's only 1 kilometer away from the rental company. We don't park, but continue driving. First to McDonald's for a McFlurry and then to the Belmont shopping center. When we arrived, Michi saw a cap there that he wants to get (Samuel wants one too). I quickly stop at Hofer/Aldi. We have dinner at the shopping center as well.
