Less searching, much more finding

We spend our last days in Nakadaki Art Village between roaring waves and intoxicating cherry blossoms.
At Suzumejima, an impressive rock formation, we jump over foaming waves. It is incredibly loud and the wind and the sound of the sea envelop us. Here, the world seems very far away for a moment...

To celebrate spring properly, we go to Mobara Park with Takaya, one of the other Nakadaki employees. Pink lanterns surround the small lake, on which you can reach a small shrine via a red bridge. We celebrate Hanami (enjoying cherry blossoms with food brought along) under the big trees. It looks like a pink spring dream. On the other side of the lake there are some market stalls and snack bars.

We want to go to the sea one more time. Finally, the sun is shining again. It has been raining often and for a long time in the past few weeks.
We visit a small Buddhist temple, which stands out with its strong red color in contrast to the deep blue sea. The children enjoy drinks from a vending machine (fortunately they are everywhere). We catch the last rays of sunshine of the day at Onjuku Beach. We find it difficult to say goodbye to Nakadaki Art Village, but at the same time we are looking forward to our next adventure in the mountains.
