Back in Cromwell

Hello,

Cromwell is our home until the end of January, then our journey continues.

So that you know what we do all day, I'll give you a brief overview of our day J

4:55am is the first alarm

5:30am Wake up and have breakfast

6:00-7:30am Start work on the first farm for 1.5 hours. Picking raspberries and boysenberries

8:00am-3:30pm 7 hours working on the neighboring farm; picking cherries and getting paid for this work.

Then we have a break until 4:30pm.

4:30pm-6:30pm we work again at our family's place for food, drinks, Wi-Fi and our own room with shower and common room in the garage.

At 7:00pm we have dinner and then take a shower

Then off to bed because the alarm goes off early...

After 11 hours of work, one is exhausted because there is no weekend here...! Besides, it is incredibly hot here (we have an average of about 35 degrees Celsius every day!!! On the hottest day, we measured 41.7 degrees Celsius!!!) and we haven't had any real rain since the beginning, let's ignore the 3-4 hours of rain on Christmas...

I was really exhausted in the last few weeks because of all the work, so unfortunately the blog had to suffer. That's why all the entries came gradually and relatively late.
