Palace of Olite

Olite is the beautiful small town in northern Spain. In Basque, the town is called Erriberri. On our way to the French border, we randomly end up here. We are amazed by the beautiful Palace of Olite, which is not mentioned as a tip in any of our travel guides. We enjoy the charming old town and indulge in tapas. The following day, we visit the stunning Palace of Olite. It has been meticulously restored. The many different towers make it very special. We almost get lost in the old walls, as the Kings of Navarra used to reside here in great luxury. We absolutely love it here and highly recommend a visit to Erriberri.

We stay overnight at a free parking spot for motorhomes, right in the city. They even offer free water tank filling and waste disposal. Perfect!
