15th day Sunday

Whakaputaina: 19.08.2018

The night was a bit restless - I woke up because of a sudden loud noise and then heard quiet scraping, nibbling and grinding next to the tent. It sounded like a horse, but it couldn't be. It was too quiet for an elephant. I then suspected a baboon monkey. In the dark, alone, you get a little nervous when you don't know what's happening behind the tent wall.

But eventually I fell asleep again.

After breakfast, we started the journey back home. The road led through hilly terrain along the border with Mozambique.

We stopped at Dedza Pottery and Lodge in Dedza for a break. In the middle of Africa, a tourist oasis with pottery sales and a small garden restaurant. Nice!!!!

Something like this is missing here. Just stop, sit somewhere nice, and eat or drink something.

We arrived back at the Zithahaus around 5 pm.

3 new people, Annette, Jürgen, and Thomas, have moved in with us. They are from the Zikomo Foundation/Donation Organization and want to see everything.

In addition, Felix and Jennifer joined our team today. Now there are eight of us.
