Do 14.10. Heinola - Porvoo - Helsinki

At night frost, in the morning fog, later sun

After an early breakfast, we pack all our things, Juha drives straight back to Helsinki, we want to visit Porvoo on the way there. It froze at night, so in the morning there is a light fog over the lake, which looks almost mystical with the rising sun.

The farewell to Juha is short, we will see each other again on Friday evening at a concert.

Porvoo turns out to be a city with a very intact, large old town area with wooden houses in many colors, the weather is beautiful and the sun is shining, we walk all the way through the entire old town.

It is fascinating to walk through the narrow streets, and here too there are constantly new views of buildings, churches, and squares.

After lunch, it gets a bit cloudy, and on the way to Helsinki, there is light rain.

In Helsinki, we find the accommodation very quickly, it is a small modern apartment in an old building. From here, we want to explore Helsinki further tomorrow.

In the evening, we take a stroll through Tölöö, the district where we live, and finally find a nice Finnish beer pub...
