Whakaputaina: 25.12.2017
Flown for 3 1/2 hours, gained two hours, and landed in Sydney with a brand new Boeing 777-300. We checked into our room at Martin's Place (grinning) and immersed ourselves in the vibrant metropolis. Actually, a good idea that we definitely weren't alone in. Looking back, we learned from the news that this year's revenue was 2.8% higher than last year, meaning the $50 billion revenue mark was reached. We also contributed to this record. This crowd of people overwhelmed us.
Therefore, the next day we took a bus outside the city center to Coggee Beach. We walked along the coast to Bondi. In rock pools, we refreshed ourselves from the 33-degree heat. We strolled for two hours to Bondi with our flip-flops, passing numerous beaches. Surprised by an impressive storm with lightning, bizarre cloud formations, and heavy rain, we sought shelter with others to avoid getting wet. It was even mentioned in the evening news.
We enjoyed our Christmas evening with mezze at the Greek restaurant with a good bottle of wine in Darling Harbour. Due to the temperatures, our Christmas feelings are still somewhat limited, but the beautifully decorated trees and the evening Christmas projections are simply fantastic!
