Tag 325 - Another change of accommodation @ Phu Siab Mhok@KhaoSok

Hello everyone,

We had a wonderful evening yesterday, ordered food to our room (at a bargain price), but went to bed early because the day was really exhausting ☺️

This morning on the way to breakfast, we saw the truly dreamlike hotel complex for the first time. It is huge and there is something to discover everywhere. There is even a hotel-owned lake and a kind of high ropes course ☺️

The only downside is that the complex is not well maintained, but that is normal in Thailand as far as we know, as soon as you are a bit outside the tourist areas ☺️

At 10:30 a.m. we started our onward journey ☺️

The drive was indescribably beautiful! We only had to cover 75 kilometers, which is why we drove quite slowly and enjoyed the scenery. Mountains rose around us and the road seemed to run right through the jungle.

Just when we wanted to take a short break anyway, we saw the signpost to a waterfall, which we followed. About 700 meters further on, we found it. The waterfall was really pretty and perfect for a little break ☺️

On the remaining journey, we made two more stops, because you really must not let the entire panorama pass you by ☺️

At 2:15 p.m. we reached our next accommodation. We will stay here until December 27th and in a way celebrate our Christmas ☺️

The hotel is located directly at the Khao Sok National Park, which we definitely want to explore in more detail!

Right after the welcome drink, we were taken to our bungalow and once again we were amazed. The bungalow itself is quite simple, but the terrace…! Sooooooo great! A quarter of the terrace consists of a net, where you can relax and enjoy an stunning view! And the next highlight: there is a bathtub on the second quarter!

Yessss, we are again really, really satisfied with our "room" ☺️

We sat on the terrace for a while until we went looking for a restaurant at 4:30 p.m. That's not so easy here.... It's certainly great how natural everything is and in the hands of the locals - that's why we traveled here ☺️

But you have to look for restaurants here ☺️

We took the scooter and after 15 minutes we found something. The selection was very limited compared to what we are used to, but we both found something and got full 😁

After the meal, we made our way back to the hotel.

Now we are lying outside in the mentioned net and simply enjoy the really great view ☺️
