Wine Tasting is definitely a must-do when living in the Winelands of South Africa. Today, we went to the Wine Tasting with the international program of the university. We visited three vineyards. I tried all of them, including the red wine. After all, alcohol is not supposed to be wasted, but I went to bed early in the evening. The first one, 'Tokara,' was okay. We learned something about the wines. The second one, 'Zorgvliet Wines,' I didn't like the wine as much. It didn't taste very good to me. We weren't told much about it either. They just put two different wines for us to compare. However, the cheese platter they served was very good, I still dream of the mango cheese (the yellow one). The last vineyard, 'Lanzerac,' was my favorite. It wasn't just a tasting, it also included a cellar tour. It's more enjoyable for me when I learn a bit about the vineyard or the production process. After the Wine Tasting, we went to Route 44, a market nearby, which was also very nice and had good food.
