So today last day in Ica. Have I already mentioned at some point that I think Ica is stupid. Well, I slept well, I had to be out at 10:00 a.m. But I was able to leave my suitcases there, which was really good. My bus didn't leave until 3:30 p.m. Super late, but what can you do? My path then led me to Plaza del Armas, which is what the squares in the middle of the city are always called. I wanted to have breakfast there. And what shall I tell you. Ica had an attraction. I don't mean for me, I called the clinic. There was a, I have to say, really beautiful woman. She was apparently mentally ill and was of the opinion that she had to bathe naked in the well. Which is what she did. The place was full of onlookers. I felt sorry for that in my heart. In our case, the emergency medical service would have come, but it was different here. I then went on and looked for a restaurant to desayunar (breakfast). I had previously asked my landlord to order a taxi for me at 1:30 p.m. to take me to the bus station. I was back on time at 1:30 p.m. and the taxi took me to the bus station. Very friendly taxi driver, he wasn't fooling around, he voluntarily got 2 soles more. You have to reward sometimes. So then I sat there at the bus station, way too early, but really looking forward to getting out of there. I have to say, the staff at Cruz del Sur in Ica were way friendlier than the ones in Lima. So if I'm reading this in Lima, make a little effort. I didn't have to pay extra for 0.10 kg. The friendly employee simply placed the foot under the scales and it was only 19.5 kg instead of 23.1. Can't complain. Then we started and I was alone in my compartment until Paracas. Was cool too. I immediately fell asleep and snored. I know this because it woke me up ;). Unfortunately, this no longer worked from Paracas onwards. It filled with a tour group. So lean back a little higher and be careful. After 4.5 hours we arrive in Lima. I was already spoiled by Jorge, but now with Abraham... a dream. Certainly not the spectacular view like Jorge's, but the room, the apartment, a poem. Clean and super well decorated, incredible. Abraham was awesome too. Kind of heartfelt. I didn't even notice that I couldn't speak Spanish properly. We chatted so hard. I'm a fan... Tomorrow I'll meet Pepe again...you remember, friend from Ayacucho. His daughter lives and studies in Lima and just had her birthday and that's why he was in Lima. How practical for me again ;) and what can I tell you, I'm looking forward to tomorrow....
