Craft Beer and my new favorite drink

Whakaputaina: 19.12.2019

We are back in the old town. There are really many craft beer shops here. Unfortunately, nothing for me, damn gluten. There was even a low gluten beer, but it tasted so little that I could have just drunk water. Apparently, "Kölsch" is very popular here. How it came about, is a mystery to me. The "Kölsch" was produced here in Mexico, and I probably couldn't try it.🙄

On some stop signs ("ALTO") there is also written "SONRIE" ("Smile"). Drivers here seem to suffer from a similar basic annoyance as the Germans. 😁

The second shop we went to consisted of individual beer and cocktail stands, a tattoo studio (seems to be a concept to get drunk and get tattooed, because I've seen this combination here before), food stalls, and a stage.

At one of these stands, I found my new favorite drink. One should really consider the bartender's recommendation more often. It consists of mezcal, hibiscus, and spices, has an incredibly tasty chili-salt rim, and is garnished with hibiscus, as far as I understood (my Spanish is not the best yet). The combination of sweet, spicy, and salty is irresistible to me at least.

I like the concept of self-built backyard locations, the only downside is: at the current temperatures here (3-10*C in the evening) it is difficult to stay at semi-open-air places for long. You would have to drink a lot or dance more to stay warm. The Mexican rock'n'roll band made it a little more bearable. Surprisingly, many people danced. But after a few hours, you still want to go to a warm bed.

Which brings us to the next point. There are no heaters here. So I sleep with three blankets, a scarf, and thick socks.

The sleep is really very restful, I still have to find out if it is good for my cold.

And finally:

What does an instrument say when it gives you a booty call?

Sex-o-phone 😂😂😂

(It's enough if I find it funny 😁)
