Today's day led us back to the Adriatic Sea through the hills. There was also a pass of the highest category, meaning: 1st gear, just before the urge to stop and felt like it lasted forever. But up there, there was also an impressive landscape, real agriculture, and little traffic.
After that, we went to the Adriatic Sea and to the restaurant 'Agava' in a suburb of Split. The restaurant is cheap and great. A waiter there lived in Dortmund for 20 years and then moved to Croatia 'to live'. Quote: 'I feel sorry for the Germans for what Angela Merkel has done to them.'
Afterwards, we went towards Omis, where we found accommodation away from our favorite road (only a few meters away, but already at 55m above sea level - much to the delight of Angelika).
In the evening, swimming in the Adriatic Sea - great.
With only 115km left to Medjugorje, we really feel nostalgic - trekking by bike is great.
