Just a short drive from Da Nang is the beautiful and historic city of Hoi An. In the old town, you will find a colorful blend of well-preserved ancient Chinese temples, Japanese merchant houses, narrow Vietnamese townhouses, restaurants, and bars along the river. Everywhere, tourists can have clothes and suits tailor-made. In the evenings, the waterfront transforms into a sea of lanterns.
Accompanied by Tonje, Michael, and many nice hostel residents, we explored the bars and pubs in the evening, cured our hangover at the great Hidden Beach, explored the surrounding rice fields and islands by scooter, and enjoyed the delicious banh mi sandwiches and the tasty family dinner at the hostel. A great and wild time in Hoi An, now I need a bit of rest...
