3rd week Malaga

Whakaputaina: 20.05.2023

After a 6-hour train ride, I finally arrived in MÁLAGA in the south of Spain and arrived at the apartment, which is close to the center. Here I don't live in a dormitory, but in a shared apartment, so we are only four people. Finally, on Sunday, I used the time to rest and get to know the roommates.

15.05. - Again first day of school at the CLIC language school and I was able to go to school with two of my roommates who are also new here. The school hours are also from 9:00 to 13:00 and then I have an extra hour. After school, I visited the port and the beach, both very close to the center. In the evening, we played cards in the shared apartment.

16.05. - Today, my roommates and I visited the MUSEO DE MÁLAGA (free entrance for EU citizens), which consisted of art and archaeology. After that, we went to the beach and in the evening we cooked together.

17.05. - Did you know? Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga. For this reason, there is a museum of his art and his birthplace to visit here. Not exactly my favorite artist, but it was very interesting to see that.

18.05. - During the lunch break, I visited the nearby MUSEO DE FLAMENCO and we will probably also go there for a flamenco evening. Today, Malaga showed its rainy side, which is rather rare here, so I arrived home wet.

19.05. - Today, I just walked around the city a bit and informed myself about the bus trip to NERJA. When I got home, it started raining heavily again, but it also stopped quickly. In the evening, we visited a bar.

20.05. - Getting up early to take the bus for over an hour to NERJA. There, I visited the CUEVA DE NERJA, a stalactite cave. Then I went to the city itself, where I walked to the beach through a 'white' neighborhood. After some time on the beach and a city stroll, I took the bus back.
