Etosha National Park

Whakaputaina: 19.11.2016

Two exciting days await us in Etosha National Park. In the first minutes of the drive, we are lucky to see many animals and even a lion. We stop at a waterhole where we can observe some zebras, kudus, and oryx. After lunch, the game drive begins. We drive for five hours through the area, stopping at many waterholes and seeing rhinos, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. It gets very hot in the truck and we are looking forward to arriving at the camp in the middle of the park and cooling off in the pool. In the evening, we go to the waterhole at the camp. We can watch 3 rhinos drinking and listen to their sounds.

The next morning, we start the game drive back to the other camp. We admire 5 lionesses and three lion cubs. When we arrive, we visit the waterhole again. Here, about 60 elephants have gathered. We can enjoy the rest of the day in the sun by the pool and in the bar. In the evening, we say goodbye to two people who are leaving us tomorrow. Due to the rare rain here, we walk into our tent.
