The first night in a real bed for about three weeks was a nice change, so we stayed in bed a little longer.
Since it was unfortunately quite cloudy, we drove into the city and visited the "Queen Victoria Market", a market for fresh food and all kinds of other stuff. Afterwards we made our way to "Chapel Street", a never-ending street with many shops and markets.
However, we weren't really in the mood for shopping, although the number of shops would have offered a good selection.
After a snack at the Prahran Market, the botanical gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance (the largest war memorial in Australia) were a good opportunity to stretch our legs again.
By chance we discovered a street food market, which we of course also visited.
With sunshine, beer and Asian delicacies, the time passed far too quickly.
In the evening we watched the sunset on the beach in St. Kilda and then made ourselves comfortable on the sofa again.
