Whakaputaina: 04.12.2019
We started very early today to cover the last 200 kilometers to Rainbow Beach. We felt like we also drove through the Black Forest today 🤪.
Punctually at 9:30 a.m. we arrived at the campsite, it is probably the "shabbiest" so far, but unfortunately it also has a great location, which is why we decided on it anyway. We were able to walk everything today and have a direct view of the sea from our camper 🌊 and also hear the sound of the sea to fall asleep 🐚.
In the direction of the beach we passed the well-known "Rainbow Stairs" down to the beach. Every beach here is simply beautiful 😍. Unfortunately, what is not so nice is that we could also see bush fires from us on the beach 😣.
In the midday sun we were at our campsite in the pool and took a nap.
In the early evening we are on the Carlo Sand Blow, a dune right on Rainbow Beach. Here we enjoyed the view and the sunset 🌅🥰.
Tomorrow is our last booked excursion on the plan, namely Fraser Island, we are looking forward to it 🤩
