Kaipuke Ahoy

To all a Happy New Year. We hope you had a good start. We celebrated at the harbor. It was a great evening.

Yesterday (31st Dec) we took our last trip in Belize: We sailed along the coast for 6 hours on a sailing ship and stopped at three points for snorkeling. Here too, the tourists are controlled by rangers. What we saw was very impressive: A turtle, about 35 years old (according to the guide), was eating a lobster and was attacked by a green turtlehadfish. We also saw sharks, rays, many 'Dorries' (you know: Nemo's girlfriend *g*), other fish and of course corals. But see for yourself.

Today is our last day on Caye Caulker. Tomorrow we will travel to Belize City; on Friday we will fly to Toronto. We will have a stopover of about 24 hours there. We might take a hop-on hop-off bus to get an impression of the city.
