Highlight of the day: After a cloudy start, it became sunnier and sunnier.
After yesterday's rest day, I couldn't wait to go hiking again. And so I was already on my way to Geneva shortly after 8 a.m. But this time, not by tram, but as a hiker on foot.
The first kilometers are a bit monotonous. It follows the main road all the way to just before the lake basin. There, Komoot recommended taking the small ferry, but I preferred to cross the bridge again. However, I was a little disappointed because today, too, the jet d'eau didn't shoot its big fountain into the sky. It was only an hour later that I saw it from a distance when I was already several kilometers away.
I was able to walk along the lake for the first few kilometers. After that, it was just following the road. However, mostly on a very generous sidewalk.
With a touch of melancholy, I often looked at the landscape on the opposite side, as I was there recently. In the meantime, I have covered several kilometers again, but slowly I am going back home. It's similar to getting old, you want to become old ~ but also be?
Beautiful figures were placed on the Quai in Geneva. They were very tall and had an astonishing variety. I took pictures of some of them and you can take a look at them.
Further along my stage today, I noticed that there are also large villas on the shore of this lake, so most of the shore is not accessible.
The towns I passed through have little to show that is worth photographing, so mostly photos were taken that simply show where I was. When I looked closer at nature, I noticed that it is much further along than just a few days ago. Surely the rain of the past few days has also contributed to this.
