The highlight of the day was the Free Walking Tour. Luckily, we joined the Spanish-speaking group, we were a small group of 7 people plus a tour guide. The tour guide was more like a buddy that we would go out for a drink with. And that's how it ended up. In addition to a relaxed city tour with many interesting information about the history and culture of the city, we went from one tasting to another. A little coffee in a cozy cafe, later beer on the hippie rooftop terrace, then a wine tasting from northern Mexico, and finally, 3 different Pox. Pox (pronounced Bosch) is a liquor of the Indigenous people.
We would have liked to stay one more night in Sancris, but our bus continued to Palenque at 10:30 pm.
