Day 15 - Palomino - Day at the beach

Last night slept well under the mosquito net. Got up around 6:30 and worked out at the gym. There is a small area for it here. And at this time I only disturbed the cleaning lady 😏. So far I haven't been jogging even once, but that's just the way it is. It hasn't been convenient so far and it's not suitable here on the beach.

After breakfast we packed our bags and walked to the beach. After finding a shady spot under the big palm trees, we cooled down our bodies. Oh, how wonderful to swim in the sea again. The waves were moderate, simply wonderful. Due to the wind, you could have been lying in the sun the whole time, it was almost a bit cold in the shade. But I prefer not to come back as toast, so I changed places more often. So, I have to mention one thing now: in Colombia, you never starve. Snacks are always offered everywhere. Today at the beach we received a little note, which said that there would be an open-air cinema in Palomino tonight. We visited it and it was a very nice evening. It is run by a couple (the woman is German) who have fallen in love with this little place. A nicely laid-out area and the film itself (Charlie's Country) was good to watch in English. It was about the coexistence of Aborigines and whites in Australia.
