Day 11

Beilstein -Cochem home

Since I was on the other side of the Moselle, I first had to walk 4 km on the Moselle cycle path to the next bridge. I always fall into a slight trance, it's already monotonous walking along the asphalt.😅 But as a reward there was an Edeka with a bakery for breakfast. The first supermarket in 11 days.

Today's stage was again very nice. So after the asphalt.

In the forest on small trails, or along the steep vineyards. The view downwards was always the best.

I arrived in Cochem at 1:30 p.m. And of course, it's Saturday and I was completely shocked again by the number of people. My thought was to get on the tracks and head home. 15 minutes later I was on the train and thought it was a good idea. It's so cold in the evenings anyway, which always makes me go to the tent very early. A wet tent in the morning... So I drive home with a dry tent, but pretty musty. I just sprayed insect spray (I also want to walk home.)
