Exploring Tokyo 26.02.18

We set off for Mount Mitake in the late morning. After a short visit to our favorite fruit vendor in Ome, we arrived at Mitake. Although we didn't find Mount Mitake, we did find a beautiful hiking trail through a bamboo forest. Along the way, we tried our hand at the secret art of Japanese tracking and discovered traces of the long-extinct Crumpet bear. After the adventurous hike and a rather uneventful train ride, we found ourselves at the Ushigrillmeister in Shibuya, who had perfected the art of table grilling. There, we also experienced what it's like to cross Shibuya Crossing and spent a very enjoyable evening in Tokyo before heading to Hirosaki the next day on the Shinkansen.
