I'm just going to put the text I wrote down here:
I took the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka. It was very easy and a good bus. Melaka itself is not that great. The first hotel was terrible. In the evening, I went to eat at a small restaurant in front of the hotel and it was okay. But the people there were very nice and friendly. Then I asked where I could get cigarettes and got a good pack for €. When I passed by the restaurant again, I was invited for a drink👌the next day, I walked to the next hotel, which is closer to the center. I passed by a restaurant by the river on the way and ate and relaxed there. Then I arrived at the hotel. It was even worse 😂 but at least I had a window for the first time. Scratched, dirty, and closed. With a view that was disgusting. At least I had a room on the top floor and could look a little at the ugly building😁 then I washed my laundry nearby, which I have to do every two days 😪 well, that's just the way it is, go there, relax, and play Temple Run 😉. Then I went back, took a shower and then at 8, I explored the city on foot. The city is very small. The ratio of hotels to things to do here is 10/1. There are so many hotels here. The city had a few nice spots and even a Hard Rock Cafe👌I guess it's a hidden gem 😂 it's just crossing the car bridge at the harbor because it's very high and you can get a good overview of the city from there. Then I walked around the city for 4 hours and saw almost everything. It's also pretty at night because there are lights everywhere and it's not too crowded. Melaka also has many shopping opportunities and even 2 H&M stores. Sheesh. They all dream of the West 😂
It's going well for us. At the end of the evening, I found a pub and had a gin drink :) pubs are rare here. Then I made my way back to the hotel. The next day, I showered and then checked out of the hotel. Every damn time, the hotel staff annoys me about checking out late, etc. Blah blah. One time, they even wanted to charge me money for it. Hahaha, what a bunch of losers.
Now I'm sitting in a cafe on the way from the hotel to the bus station and writing this text. Soon, I will take the bus to Johor Bahru at the southernmost end of Malaysia. I will get a hotel there and then travel to Singapore and explore the city. Singapore itself is incredibly expensive. That's what a veteran told me whom I met in Kuala Lumpur and he gave me all sorts of tips for my trip. He even made a plan with me that shows how long I will be on the road and how much it will cost. So that I don't get ripped off. He even gave me his number so that I can call him anytime if I have any questions or if someone tries to fool me. He's a really decent guy. He also told me he was in Bosnia when he served in the army. I even saw his soldier ID card because I didn't believe him at first.
So, I'll eat something soon and then get on the bus to Johor Bahru ✌️
