In less than 4 days and 7 hours, our second adventure begins. With the help of this great travel guide, we have already visualized the trip a bit in advance.
On Friday, we will pick up the camper and load it so that we can leave at 4:30 am on Saturday morning. We will head north. Our first stop will be a campsite around the Danish town of Vejie.
On Sundays, we will go all the way to the northern Hirtshals, because that's where the ferry is booked. Get on board and whoosh, 2.5 hours later we are in Norway.
Kristiansand - from here it's:
But from here it also means throwing all plans overboard and letting go. We will let ourselves be carried away every day. Will we stay an extra night in one place or will we move on? Exploring the south.
The main goal is Geirangerfjord. It is said to be the most beautiful fjord in all of Norway. However, we also don't want to lose sight of our actual goal, taking our time is the motto and not rushing. Will we make it to the natural spectacle? We will see. Stay tuned...
After a little over 2 weeks, our destination will be a parking space in Oslo to explore the capital, whether on foot, by bike or like a tourist with a tour guide.
All journeys have a secret destination that the traveler does not know. - Martin Buber
We will continue with a short day stop in Gothenburg, to head for the next overnight option in Malmö. From here, across the Öresund Bridge into the heart of Denmark.
Copenhagen - one of my favorite cities. I'm already looking forward to showing Nina this great city in 2.5 days. Hop on the bike and let the city tour begin... Truly a city to fall in love with.
On Saturday morning, it's time for the last ferry ride. From Rødby, in the south of Denmark, to the island of Fehmarn. Arriving in Puttgarden, head to the campsite and enjoy the tranquility on this small magical island once again.
September 30th - the day of the return journey. By now, 23 days full of joy, new experiences, nice encounters, impressive scenery, and evenings full of reflections should probably lie behind us.
We are looking forward to taking you on our journey with this blog.
Your Nina and Theresa
