February 24-25, 2018: Maiden voyage to Blumberg

After receiving our motorhome at short notice, we decided to go on a maiden voyage. Even though the weather was forecasted to be very cold, we didn't let that stop us and drove to Blumberg on Saturday morning. We had arranged to meet with Bea and Beat there and we were glad that they accompanied us on our first trip. We hadn't thought of everything yet and luckily Beat had everything with him. Thank you Beat and Bea!

In Blumberg, we made some purchases for our motorhome, so that we will soon be fully equipped.

The cold weather came as forecasted, especially the biting wind. So we spent most of the time in the motorhome with aperitifs. Bea and Beat even gave us a gift to start our motorhome journey.

Due to the cold, we decided not to fill up the water tank and only used the necessary amount of water for cooking and hygiene.

In the evening, we didn't cook either, but took a walk to Blumberg to have dinner at a restaurant. The walk was quite chilly though.
