Sick days and boredom

After my urinary tract infection, (Michael has already reported about the hospital visit) I have been feeling unwell for the tenth consecutive day and not fully functional. First, I lay flat on the mattress in the hotel in Hanoi. Then we traveled to Sapa by comfortable bus with reclining seats. Fortunately, we have a beautiful room with a balcony and a view of the lake and the mountains.

On the first and second day, I only left the room for a walk to go eat. On the third and fourth day, I dared to go on an excursion. It was nice, but in retrospect not a good idea, as my immune system was compromised by the antibiotics and cold viruses could spread easily. First, a runny nose and fever, now the ears and severe dizziness.

Tomorrow we will continue to Bac Ha and have ordered a taxi, as I do not trust myself to take the bus.

Now it's time for it to get better. It's exhausting, annoying, and boring.

Michael goes on smaller trips alone so that he doesn't get cabin fever. But that's not much fun either. Well, keep your fingers crossed for us!
