5 Rivers Tour: Day 4 - Nahe

It's a pity that I can't really use my great vacation home in Bad Sobernheim, I'm only here for a short time and just passing through. Anyway, next time I want to take much more time and not plan such ambitious stages. So there's not much time to look left or right or simply take a longer break - okay, today it's way too cold anyway, the strong east wind blows against me almost the whole day and slows down my average speed by a whole 3 km/h. I'm glad about wearing two pants on top of each other and the 3 wool layers under the insulated softshell jacket, the woolen gloves are rather too cold than too warm.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with my condition, the only moderate knee pain and being able to make the most of my optimal daily rhythm. Only my poor sense of direction once again added a few extra kilos and altitude meters, but I still don't want to ride with GPS on my handlebars, because then I only look at this thing and no longer at the surroundings.
