Nuraghes from the Bronze Age

After an unpleasant car rental handover (my new DKB credit card was not accepted!), today we headed to the Nuraghes of Arzachena.

There are about 7000 of these mysterious stone towers, fortress sites, and giant graves in Sardinia - today we visited "tombe dei giganti" (huge vertical oval granite slabs in front of a mass grave) and "la prisgiona" (excavated ruins of a village) from the Bronze Age.

Afterwards, we went to cool off in the beautiful hotel pool.
