Søndervig - a mixed day

On the way to the village, we again encountered a small frog that hopped in front of our feet. We also took a closer look at the obelisk that was erected here.

Afterwards, we enjoyed an extensive lunch buffet filled with various Italian delicacies, all while it kept raining.

Our overpriced postcards also made their way into the mailbox, and after browsing through the shops, we headed back.

The evening was spent in the rain watching movies and enjoying snacks in the tent.

Obelisk for N.P. Mols, painter ● Niels Pedersen Mols was an animal and landscape painter, born in 1859 in Grumstrup, Skanderborg, and died in 1921 in Copenhagen. He was reportedly in Søndervig several times to draw inspiration from the rugged iron coast for his paintings. Therefore, this obelisk stands here.
