Today we didn't have a real plan, slept in and had a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards we went to a bookshop in a historic theater, which looked pretty cool. However, there were only books in Spanish and we walked on to the "La Recoleta" cemetery in the district of the same name. Since 1881, numerous celebrities and wealthy people from the city have been buried there, including the second wife of the Argentinian president Juan Perón. The graves or mausoleums are huge and look like small chapels, but some of them are very run down. There was a craft market in front of the cemetery, where we strolled around and got some delicious churros. On the way back we stopped off at the Japanese garden, which was beautifully laid out but also very crowded. In the evening we went to a sushi restaurant one street away.
