The captain had to increase speed to stay ahead of the approaching storm. Otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to dock in Stavanger. So we reached our destination already at 01:00 in the night.Stavanger welcomed us with its typical weather. Mostly cloudy with some rain. Authentic, indeed.Nevertheless, we spent a few very nice hours in the small city. A visit to the Petroleum Museum is a must. After all, Norway's wealth is based on black gold.A part of the former old town still remains. Pretty wooden houses.We're leaving Stavanger again. Most of the time, we'll be sheltered among the islands.Occasionally, we'll have to leave the shelter and venture back into the open sea. Others have to struggle as well.Rough Sea
