Thailand - Bangkok

Paskelbta: 22.07.2017

Arrived in Bangkok as planned with Emirates. As expected, it is humid and smelly in many places. However, it is not so crowded, probably because of the rainy season.

In the evening, I walked along the infamous Khao San Road after changing clothes and endured the trouble for a short time.

The next morning, I took a bus tour to the floating markets in Damnoen Saduak.

In the afternoon, I visited the Grand Palace and several temples in the area wearing a white long pants that I bargained for at the market above (first time!).

Christin, a long-time traveler from near Magdeburg, accompanied me. We zoomed around in the obligatory tuk-tuk and went to the cinema at Siam Square in the evening. Patriotic tribute to the late king, where all Thais stood up.

On the last day, I explored modern Bangkok from Lumphini Park through Bangrak Chinatown and the surrounding areas.
