We left the beautiful spot at Lac Tislit and drove to Agoudal. Just like on the way to the lake, there are many children in the villages here who run onto the road when a tourist car approaches to make it stop. First, they want pens, ballpoint pens or something similar, secondly some money, and thirdly clothes. It doesn't leave us indifferent to just drive by, because we don't want to give any money, we don't have any clothes for the children, and we have already distributed all the pens.
After Agoudal, we continue through a beautiful landscape on a rough and very dusty track to Col du Ouano at an altitude of 2906m; despite the altitude, we have a cozy 18 degrees with a lot of wind. On the entire stretch at over 2200m, the temperature varied between 18-22 degrees. Sheep were grazing and wheat was being planted. A very unusual sight for us at this altitude. Another surprise are the small, wind-protected blooming apple orchards at an altitude of 2400m - oh it would be nice to drive this stretch again during the ripening season!
At the village of Talmi, the track merged into a narrow asphalt road and we reached the Dadés Gorge. At the village of Ait-Ali, we found a small campsite with a view (this is an important point for us to stay overnight). Enjoy the view of the Monkey's Paw Rock, how the round shapes change colors at sunset or in the morning. During the day, many tourists are brought to this rock - they stay three minutes for photos and selfies -: at night, it was dead quiet, unless a dog was barking anymore.
