turned to Turin

Safiye, our Italian guide, showed us what students do when they feel like visiting a big city. A comfortable train took us from Bra right into the city of Turin. We were amazed by huge squares and exciting buildings and museums. Coffee in a converted pharmacy, hidden thrift stores, and Italian kitsch. For us, it was a taste of an interesting city that goes on our to-do list.

Bra bid us farewell with a clear view of the snow-capped mountains, and we landed by the sea in Savona.
