After we indulged in some shopping (Britta had to go back to the jacket section because the sun actually came out and the winter jacket was definitely too warm 🙄), we called the campsite in Renesse and reserved the last available spot 🙃.
5*****Campsite: De Zeeuwsekust in Noordwelle/ Renesse, with ACSI-Card in the low season 19,— EUR/ night. We finally arrived at 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday (4.4.) we first had a look at the beautiful beach. Holland's North Sea coast is so beautiful! Wide, empty beaches. Well, at least empty in the pre-season, I wonder what it looks like here in the summer 🤔
On Thursday, we drove around in the car, strolled in Renesse (nice little town), went shopping, and then took a look at the nearby Brouwersdam, the El Dorado for kite surfers and other water sports enthusiasts. Here you can drive with the motorhome directly to the beach, which many people do. We quickly agreed: tomorrow we will come here too!
After our electronics played a trick on us on Friday and our electronic jacks didn't want to retract (which brings us back to the point: "There's always something!" 🙄), we are actually here now.
We have a magnificent view of the beach and the sea. The sun is shining, the sky is blue - wonderful ☀️🏖.
Unfortunately, there is a very sharp, cold wind 💨 blowing, so we prefer the cozy motorhome seats inside over the outdoor lounge chairs. At least this way I have time to continue writing the travel diary.
Tomorrow we will already be heading home 😢. What a shame! Holland, we will come back 🇳🇱
