Here I am again! โ˜บ๏ธโœŒ๐Ÿป

Freshly arrived from the USA! Meanwhile, I have arrived back in Germany quite well and already in the planning for the coming period. I will start my journalism studies next week in ๐Ÿ“Ansbach, Bavaria!

This time I have ordered the picture gallery so that I start with the somewhat newer pictures and experiences. With the storytelling, however, I start from the oldest.

It is best to start where I left off. That would be with the reappearance of Kristen. She has been one of the daughters of my host family, like a sister to me, and she has also been a good student to me in my first year on the ranch. ๐Ÿด

Since she works at another ranch in Pennsylvania, she only came home for a few days. We enjoyed our time together, went to the cinema, and watched a shark movie by ourselves because there was no one else in the theater, and we got a piercing together. Of course, as a little memory. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We also went out to get some Milka chocolate. They actually have it in America. But you have to find the supermarket first. However, Wegmans was very close by. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Together with the family, we also visited a ranch where someone lives who speaks German and was also born in Germany. That was pretty cool because I could speak German there again.

On the last night, my host family lit the fire basket to make stick bread and s'mores. Do you know s'mores? You have to heat a marshmallow over the fire and then put it in two cookie plates with a piece of chocolate. Is very tasty and should be introduced more in our country too. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The time went by faster than you thought, and then the day was also here where it was, 'Goodbye, America!' ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Once I arrived at the airport, I had a few more hours to check-in and say goodbye.

After some time, I went inside the plane and met a British passenger. I asked him something and heard his British dialect. Of course, I was only used to the American dialect or slang, so I asked him where he was from to make sure I was correct. He then asked where I was from. When I said Germany, he was amazed because he would have thought that I was American. So, my English can't be that bad then. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The flight went well and was over after 7 hours and 10 minutes. One is just faster over there than you think. However, I still could not sleep.

Arrived, early in the morning at half past 10 in Germany, I did not eat any Knoppers, but I went to the baggage claim. ๐Ÿ˜‚ It took about an hour until I got my two suitcases.

Then I went to passport control until I came across my family. I was very happy to see them. But especially my brother since I had not seen him for two years. ๐Ÿ˜… My family had made a huge welcome poster.

I'm sure many are wondering if I have or had jet lag. I would say no, but on the other hand, I can't sleep before two in the morning. I guess the internal clock is not set right after all. ๐Ÿ˜„

I still have problems with my sentence structure, or with speaking, too. Sometimes I just throw out English terms or start a sentence in German, which I then spontaneously want to continue in English. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

What have I already done again so far? I have already been to a few doctors for various check-ups because it would have been way too expensive in America. Also, I have already visited my old school (high school) and gone to my former youth clubs. I met with many friends and then my parents organized a surprise party for me, which I could not have imagined. ๐Ÿคญ I was also allowed to visit our castle again from the outside, and I also had to eat schnitzel again. I really missed that. ๐Ÿฅฒ Especially with Hollandaise sauce.

I also spend a lot of time with my family when I'm not packing for my move, which takes place on Saturday. Exactly, then I'm away again for a while in beautiful Bavaria. But I'm already coming back to the Sauerland for Christmas. ๐Ÿ˜

It also feels like one appointment after another. I don't really have time to arrive and realize what just happened or has happened. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I have not yet decided how and if this blog will continue. But I will never stop reporting what's new because that will be my job eventually. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Whether it is here or somewhere else is still up in the air.

For now, I would like to say thank you for checking in and following my experiences. I hope you also enjoyed it and that you have now also learned a bit about American culture and can now imagine more. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿคช

Then I will continue to arrive well in my home country and continue packing my things. Who knows, maybe I'll go somewhere else again for a longer time. I'm always open to new things! ๐Ÿ˜‡
