Summer, sun and ... covered skin

Our next stop was Busan. The bus spat us out at the 'central' bus terminal on the outskirts of the metropolis. After our now trained senses had oriented themselves, we fought our way through the city to the opposite outskirts, where we settled down on the 13th floor of a tower not far from the beach. After checking in, we gave in to the need to bury our bare feet in the hot sand, which ended as an involuntary foot peeling. Bare legs should also be the only thing you show at the beach. Koreans prefer to be dressed - even when swimming in the sea. As self-confessed exhibitionists, this was of course a huge shock to us. We spent our days on small excursions, which we ended with slightly overpriced food breaks on the beach. At night, we dressed up, let the disco ball spin and belted out a few hits in the local karaoke bars.
