31st day, from Calella to Calella de Palafrugell

Friday 28/04/23, sunny at 25°C.

Today was exhausting, during the route planning last night we noticed a small town on the Costa Brava. To reach it, we had to cycle 75 km and climb nearly 700 meters. The altitude meters were really tough as there were some pushing sections. But we were rewarded for it. Through cork oak and pine forests, along eucalyptus trees on a new long-distance cycle path. Thanks to our trusty cycling navigation. Here between Barcelona and the French border, it looks somewhat like the images one has in mind of Tuscany. Additionally, there is a noticeable difference compared to the southern part of Spain. The town we chose also has a somewhat rustic appearance from a distance. Let's see...
