Bonjour all,
I'm writing to you right now from Northern Germany. After surviving Corona, I am currently on a tour of Germany to visit friends and family. In this post I'll talk about my first stop in France - Biarritz. I was passing through here because I had to arrive at the campsite in Étang d'Aureilhan in the evening. In fact, campsites become relatively scarce towards the end of October, with most closing in mid-October.
When I arrived in Biarritz, I set off on foot towards the beach.
Here I went for a walk and watched the surf schools teach young people and children.
Overall, the city was relatively well attended by older ladies and gentlemen who were milling about in front of the casinos. But I didn't think the city itself was particularly pretty or special. The beach was really pretty and very long but otherwise I've been to much nicer cities in the previous weeks.
Unfortunately, since there was nothing special apart from the beach, I can't tell you more about it.
Best regards,
Britta
