I have to admit, this time I'm not keeping up with writing. Something's always going on.....either no internet or my feet hurt or I'm too tired to write in the evening (or too much wine?)
Well, let's not be too hard on Pesaro, but there wasn't really much to see here, not as much as in Ravenna for example.
Even though we find gelaterias everywhere in Italy, there are few where you can sit down for an ice cream sundae. In Ravenna we found one, and an elderly Italian couple sat next to us, the man immediately wanting to tell us his life story in relatively good German.
We happen to come across KOKO, a local mosaic artist, who creates fantastic images on tiles and from tiles/glass with his team, and we are even allowed to look into the back rooms of the studio to admire his latest work.
And today we are staying just 10 km before Venice on a pitch that only opened in July and is accordingly clean, well-maintained and still relatively cheap. If there had been a swimming pool there, we wouldn't have left. Especially since on the day of arrival we didn't yet know how much we would miss the cool water and notice that taking a shower again and again doesn't help in the heat.....
