Pesaro

After the disappointment with the taxi in Fano, we decided to go to Pesaro instead, in order to catch the last bus back this time.

The idea was not bad, but of course we hadn't considered that in Italy everyone takes a siesta at noon. Bad for Britta and me, so no shopping this time...

Otherwise, Pesaro doesn't really have much to offer. After the charming Fano, we are quite disappointed with this city. But we found an ice cream parlor with probably the best ice cream in all of Italy!!! At least we think so :-) Cheap and delicious!!!!

But when we continue towards the promenade and find ourselves in the absolute tourist hot spot, Pesaro loses completely.

And since Pesaro has nothing exciting left for us, we make our way back to the bus, which is not easy because as well as we thought we knew our way around Italian public transport by now, it was difficult to find the right bus stop. But on the right bus back, we met 2 'acquaintances' from the day before again, and when we got off, half the bus said goodbye to us.

Very nice people, these Italians!
