Day 10 to 12 - Los Angeles - Arrive - Hollywood - Walk of Fame

Thursday:

From Las Vegas we took the FlixBus to Los Angeles. During this time we noticed that there was not a single construction site on the freeways and the roads are in fairly good condition. 👍🏻

When we arrived at the final stop, we took an “unofficial” taxi, but it got us to our destination just fine… (our hotel)🙈.

We then explored the hotel and the surrounding area in the Hollywood district. You can see the lettering from the roof terrace 😊. In California there is even a plastic tax, as we discovered when shopping at the supermarket. I really didn't expect that 😅.

Friday:

At breakfast the next day we saw Andreas from the stars' summer house. The face immediately looked familiar, but then we had to google who it was 😁.

Since the time up to this point was pretty tiring overall, we treated ourselves to a day at the pool, where I of course swam a lot of laps 😀🏊‍♂️.

In the early evening we walked along the Walk of Fame. But this one isn't really that special. It's a simple street in LA with an asterisk. In general it smells very strong there and there are also a lot of homeless people to be observed... 😨.

Saturday:

Yesterday we slept for a long time, walked around the city and tried to soak up some of Hollywood 🤪. There's even a Rocktoberfest going on. In the evening we went to the roof terrace of our hotel. A DJ was playing there and we got a taste of the party life.
