Hello :),
On Saturday, Laura and I went shopping - just like that, and there was simply nothing going on over the weekend. Among other things, we had planned to look for backpacks. We had already read in various blogs that the company Tatonka produces first-class backpacks. These are in a higher price range and we looked at some of them - but Laura quickly lost interest in looking, as an employee in the store treated us poorly and had a bad attitude. So we left the store and went to another sports shop - the consultation was excellent and they took a lot of time for us. Due to the great presentation and personal tips, we decided on Deuter.
Frederik's backpack: Deuter Alpamayo 60 + 10 price €143
Laura's backpack: Deuter Alpamayo 50 + 10 price €143
You can find these models a bit cheaper on the internet - but we liked the consultation so much that we are willing to pay the extra price (another advantage is that we can test the backpack for four weeks and return it if we don't like it).
Our first tour - an exciting trip
With joy and high motivation, we filled the backpack with an initial weight of around 9kg and hiked for several hours in the best summer weather.
On an abandoned field that we crossed, we saw several deer playing in a hollow. On the way back to the car, we walked along abandoned forest paths next to rapeseed fields. The wind felt wonderful in our hair and on our bodies - suddenly I stopped and Laura asked what was wrong - I just said: 'I hear something rustling, it's probably just the wind.' About 50 meters further, the shock and adrenaline rush came. A grunt and a quick rustling and trampling could be heard in the rapeseed field.
In the end, we are glad that we did not encounter the wild boar and that we arrived safely at the car.
That's how it can go on. The backpacks fit well and relieved the shoulders. No spots rubbed and now we will continue to test the backpack at regular intervals and gradually increase the weight to see if it stays that way.
If you have any questions, just write :)
