After a good night's sleep, we set off towards Copenhagen.
After some very frustrating mishaps, we were able to enjoy a >>free tour<< with Simon through the old town of Copenhagen from 12 o'clock onwards. With funny stories, he brought us closer to the history of the city and put a smile on our faces at the same time.
After a small lunch snack, we decided to explore the rest of the city on our own.
First, we had to go up the Round Tower, which was recommended to us by Simon. We found a beautiful view, an ancient but innovative toilet, and a glass panel through which we could see 25m downwards.
After another impressive church tower, we finally ended up in the hippie district of Christiana.
The sun came out and we decided to sit down on the newly discovered terrace steps to enjoy an hour of sunshine.
On our way to our last destination, the Little Mermaid, we passed by the opera house, some beautiful parks, and Amalienborg.
Having taken a photo of the Little Mermaid on her rock, we made our way back to our accommodation and passed by the Castle, which offered a beautiful view.
Tired from the exhausting day, we are now going to sleep and 'excited' to get up again at 5 o'clock in the morning!
(Side fact: ~20km on foot)
