Welcome to New York City!

Dɛn dɔn pablish am: 01.10.2024

So, this is where we continue our city trip for three to New York City. Friday afternoon, we headed to Pittsburgh to the airport. From there, we flew to New York City. The approach was already a highlight on its own. As it got dark during our flight, we had a view of the New York City skyline at night from the airplane. Amazing, I can only say!

For the next four days, we explored the city. We bought a New York City Pass (provider: Go City) for four days to see all the attractions. We took a Big Bus through the city, wandered along the High Line, cycled through Central Park, visited the 9/11 Museum & Memorial, as well as the One World Observatory, took a look at the city from the Top of the Rock, Edge, and Empire State Building, admired the Statue of Liberty, and saw much more.
New York City is definitely an impressive city, and we won’t be here for the last time!

I could now describe our exact daily plan (what we visited), but that would be too much for this blog. If anyone wants tips and our plan for New York City, feel free to contact us. We documented everything, as with every city trip, and we can gladly make that available.

But now take a look at the photos yourself. I think they say more than a thousand words....

P.S.: After our New York trip and a brief stay in Pittsburgh, my mom headed back home to Germany. It was again a very nice time! Great that you visited us!
We are already packing again... Tomorrow early in the morning, we’re heading back to the airport... this time, however, it’s back to work in Sunnyvale.
