Wave Rock - a small detour

16.09 - After climbing Mount Barren, we ventured inland again - a brief detour to Wave Rock. This meant that instead of just 3 hours to Lucky Bay (also on the coast), it took us 7 hours spread over two days - 2.5 hours there and 4.5 hours back. We had heard a lot about it, both positive and negative. Our expectations were therefore neutral. For us, this detour was worth it, as Wave Rock was impressive both in daylight and moonlight. The Hippo's Yawn rock formation, which looks like a yawning hippopotamus mouth, also pleased us.
