Carmel, Morro Bay & Santa Barbara

After three days in San Francisco, we continued along Highway 1 towards Morro Bay, where we made a stop for the night. On the way from SF, we made another halt in Carmel-by-the-Sea; a very quaint little place that somewhat reminds one of Shrek.

Morro Bay itself is a small coastal town with its own unique character. Unfortunately, we didn’t have too much time there; in the evening, we had grilled sandwiches at a sports bar right by Morro Rock, followed by an overnight stay near the beach.

After a night there, we headed towards Los Angeles and took a detour to Santa Barbara - a city designed in the Mexican style with very good burritos :)
