Before breakfast, we had to clarify with our landlady what there is to eat. She understood us well and immediately knew what we could eat and what not. So we had omelette with vegetables and fruits, accompanied by black tea. Since Padi complained about his hair being too long, I was allowed to shave his hair ✂💆😉 After that, we went to cool off in the pool.
For lunch, we went to our favorite local restaurant, which was once again delicious.
The goal of the day was to see the rice fields. Patrick discovered that there are such fields on the outskirts of the city. We were too stingy to book a trip to the rice terraces (which are supposedly overcrowded anyway). The way there was adventurous, through a piece of jungle 🌴🌳🌴, but it was also a great experience. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures (we focused on the way), there is only a video. Upon arrival at the rice fields, we were amazed at how laborious rice cultivation actually is. We walked around there for an hour before heading back to the city through the jungle. There, we treated ourselves to a Caipirinha.
For dinner, we went back to 'our restaurant', where we sat for a long time. We met two nice girls with whom we exchanged travel experiences. To conclude, we went back to the pool 🌙💦
