Hobart - Salamanca Market

We pick up our new motorhome at 7:30 in the morning. It only has 10 thousand km on it and is in very good optical condition (photos will follow in the next few days). After that, the redemption for Birgit follows: her luggage has also arrived.

Apart from having to do laundry, the biggest part of the day revolves around the culinary highlights offered by the Salamanca Market and the Hobart harbor. From cappuccino, peanut butter, olive bread, and almond croissants to candied garlic and fish & chips at Flippers. In addition, we still admire some of the wooden sailing ships that remain from the Australian Wooden Boat Show that took place last week.

At 9:30 pm, we arrived somewhere deep in the forest at the Lea Scout Bush Camp. As a final treat (the first one was creamy ice cream made from milk from happy Tasmanian cows), we have spelt whole grain carrot cake.
